I work at a software developer and we haven't converted all of our software over to 64bit versions. Many of the reasons can be found here in this article written several years ago but still applicable.

Bottom-line is that depending on what the software does it may not make any significant difference. The ability to take advantage of greater than 4GB of memory is the most often reason given.

Often underlying code dependencies may make it difficult or impossible. Complex software such as Wirecast that may have 3rd party code dependencies can greatly complicate the matter. In other words the 3rd party needs to update their code before Telestream can do anything. Now I don't know if that is the case with Wirecast...so it's just a guess.
