What's wrong with using the app?

I'm with you. There's nothing wrong with using the APP. It's an interesting idea because if you are in a meeting and someone does not have Skype installed on their computer and they need a really fast way of using Skype, this is a fast way of using it. No installation necessary, but what will most likely happen is the user will get bogged down by having to create a valid user profile. Maybe Skype is working on a way of integrating Skype within websites, to facilitate calling live broadcast shows ;-)Originally Posted by mcphillips

The ability to configure inputs and outputs in the Skype app is a great benefit, or at least it was until they screwed up the input volume control on the Windows app.

I would much rather use an app. I hope this is not the direction they are headed
