LOL. Yes, I'm aware. That's why I said I was sure the settings were the same, but when I have a chance to uninstall 5 and re-install 6, I will double check my findings.

UPDATE: I did a quick uninstall and re-install. Same settings, etc. in WC6 64 bit as are in WC5 32 bit.

Check Lifecam Studio Firmware (1033) and Software (3.6 for Windows 7 or 4.2 for Windows 8) as well.

I have a C910 with no issues but seems your C920 is OK as well.
I don't have Lifecam Studio to test with.
Try removing one of them. Make sure it's gone from both Source Settings and Media>Show Asset Manager as well. Then restart Wirecast again and tell me how it behaves with just one Lifecam Studio.

Just a quick update. I took the plunge and performed a clean install of Windows 8.1 (I was using Windows 7 as previously mentioned). I then installed Wirecat 6 64bit. The difference between this installation and my previous installation is astronomical. I've had no issues with running the 3 cameras AND when encoding out to 3 CDNs, recording locally and having the virtual camera output to Skype only taxes the CPU at max 55%. Previously under Windows 7, the 3rd camera issue aside, my system would easily hit 70%+ trying to do this.

I'm not going to sit here and say that Windows 8.1 is the reason, but this clean installation, an OS that is known to have a better working core than its previous version (it's always been the interface that most people haven't liked) and running 64bit WC6 seems to make a world of difference!

Presently, I'm happy with Wirecast 6.
