Investing into your podcast? How much did you spend?

I was wondering how much you guys spent when you got started Podcasting / Internet Broadcasting?

Right now I have spent around 250 dollars.

I have anywhere from 2-3 thousand including the computer, internet connection and software.

Initially, just to get us going, we spent around $300 and then pooled whatever mics, etc we had at the time. 2 years in, I would say $10,000 in computers, cameras, boards, outdated stuff that we have replaced (so buying something, then buying something else), etc. We are looking to spend even more as we continue to build and grow.

At what point do you think its a good time to start spending some cash?

I have put almost a grand into my setup. It can get pricy very quickly
