    Custom Wirecast 4.2.2 PC Build

I chose to build a new custom shuttle PC for Wirecast 4.2.2. After much consideration and planning here is the parts list:

    Intel Core™ i7-3770K Processor, 3.50GHz w/ 8MB Cache
    ASUS P8Z77-M PRO
    Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Quad Channel Kit (4 x 4GB)
    ASUS GT630 GeForce GT 630 2GB PCI-E
Corsair Neutron Series GTX SATA III Solid State Drive, 120GB
WD 1TB Caviar Black 7200rpm SATA III
Corsair Professional Series Gold AX750 Modular Power Supply
    Silverstone Sugo SG02-F Micro-ATX Case, Black w/ USB 3.0
    Noctua NF-R8-1800 80mm Fan X3
Matrox VS4 Quad HD Capture and ISO Recording Card for Telestream Wirecast

I currently have the CPU, RAM, MOBO, Case and Fans. I'll sweat the small stuff in the new year and get the VS4 as soon as my local retailer can get a delivery date.

I believe this DIY system will come in at under $3000.00 with Wirecast and could be an alternative to the Tricaster TC40.

Well today I installed a Corsair Professional Series HX650 Modular Power Supply into my Wirecast Shuttle. A slight down grade from the one I original chose but still a great PSU. To my surprise this unit is whisper quiet. I am using a stock CPU cooler and 3 80mm fans for the cooling and I was amazed to say the least. I powered it up and she registered the memory and CPU correctly. I preformed the bios update without incident so now it is time to get the drives and video card then load up the software. I may have to change out the stock cooler though it is running at 39 degrees C and I think it should be lower.

    Richard,

I have used that case, too, and like it. I see you have mounted three extras fans. How is the fan noise as a result? Are they low-noise fans?
