Are you using CFL's only? Do you have a fluorescent light in the room somewhere? In the last few weeks - since I got the softboxes with the BIG CFL's - I was told I look pale, I look green etc. and could not adjust to counter it. Adding a 100W incandescent bulb inside one of the boxes, seemed to correct it some. Mike mentioned gel filters to filter out the green, I got on eBay and found a set of gels for $7.00 (red, green, blue, yellow). When I got them I tried them all, and the red one corrected the problem. I taped it to the inside of the diffuser (in the middle, the gels are 12x12). I went on to cover a fluorescent light that I have (hanging from the ceiling upside down so that it just reflects) with more red gels.
I have been playing around with the manual white balance and its getting close. Im going to pick up some more Pink gels and see if that helps out some more.
