Me too! I hate long intros. Opens should be no longer than 30-seconds. I also don't like uneven audio levels where one voice is too low and another is just right or too high. I don't want to have to ride my volume knob, that's your job when you're recording the thing!
For me it comes to the hosts. Even if the content is good it doesnt matter. I think its the one on one connection you make that really keeps the viewer
