Work in progress though obviously I need a larger desk. When there's not so much junk laying around everything fits, but its pretty much baloney and white bread that this point.

As you can see I didn't even bother to clean it as I wanted you to see what it looks like' when the world isn't watching.

This is the set we use for GamerTech.TV LIVE!

All of the machines that run the live stream and chat room are on the other side of the room.

If you want to know all the equipment here is a link to check it out : http://www.gamertech.tv/gear/

    Nice equipment Jase!
I do wish I had kept the PR40 and the dbx 286s but I couldn't leave well enough alone. Historically, if there is a hard way to do something, I will most certainly find it.

Hey everyone, it's good to be here. Thanks, Andrew, for inviting me to join.

I don't do live shows anymore. I make YouTube videos.

Here is my humble, yet ever-changing setup. I took a 3'x6' piece of 3/4" plywood, and eventually mounted it on 3 metal, height-adjustable sawhorses. That is my main computer desk. I have two 24" monitors on monitor arms. The monitors can be moved around. I use an old Panasonic DV Camcorder for the videos. I have a Cowboy Studio light set. I use a 2009 Mac Mini and a Blue Yeti Microphone for my YouTube videos

I decided to setup my old 24" iMac on an old computer desk that fell apart years ago. I rebuilt the desk, using old cast-off pieces of 2x4" for extra support.

    Hello Ron,
Even though I'm fairly new, I can still say welcome to the forum! I planned to start with prerecorded content and posting to YouTube as well. It was never my intention to even do that but while beta testing new software for Apple, I happened across this forum purely by accident. The more I read, the more interested I've become. Also, there's a lot of great people here and that makes it even more enjoyable.

Anyway, your set-up looks as good as any especially compared to my own. Most of what I have so far is just a carryover from my photography hobby and software testing but it's certainly enough to cross-pollinate into basic webcasting.

It's an interesting thing' to get into, especially if you like tweaking things' and learning new stuff. In fact, I've become quite intrigued with the science of sound and I've learned so much in a relatively short period of time. Wish I had stumbled across this earlier in my life as I could easily see myself enjoying the engineering part of all of this.

    Regards,
    Dan
