    App controls Webcams on Mac including Logitech C920 & Microsoft Cinema.
    Supposedly this is direct hardware control like drivers found on Windows.

    I haven't tested this but I believe I'll be hearing from people I know in the near future.

    You can also try uvc-ctrl-gui. Its a free program you can control: iris, focus, exposure, white balance, sharpness, saturation, gain, contrast & brightness.
