Post Skype to start displaying ads during calls

Today Skype announced the launch of Conversation Ads in Skype. These new display ad units will appear within the calling window of users who do not have Skype Credit or subscriptions when they're making Skype to Skype audio calls.

I have noticed the ads already in Skype for this. I do know that if you do full screen video they don't overlay on the screen so that is OK for me. Now that I say this, tomorrow they will make it overlay on the video. Sigh.

Google Hangouts or google talk would really be the best option. Based on what I have read if you buy Skype credits then you wont get ads.

This is interesting. I wonder what happens when we pay for Group Video, but the people connecting to us are not paying !!!

Since the ads are going to displayed only on audio calls for users without premium accounts, I don't see a problem. Everyone else, including Facebook, blinds you with ads all the time.
Please direct all questions for me to the forum so that all can benefit.

I hear to stop seeing the ads just put a small amount of money in as Skype credit.
