Specific to Wirecast but certainly some of it can be applied to other programs. In might inspire a VB user to see how they would tackle the same challenge given VB's different capabilities.
BTW I do know of VB users who also use Wirecast. Since Wirecast can see VB as a virtual camera source one can almost do a sort of multibank switcher approach in which they take advantage of VB features (and its Virtual Device Out) and feed that in to Wirecast to take advantage of its features as well. Of course one would need significant CPU resources but some people do use both together.
Even if you are a vidblaster user you can learn a lot about live streaming. there are many features in Wirecast that Vidblaster users would find interesting
