Question Podcast2Radio from Blubrry and Live365

Interesting concept but seems a bit expensive. What do you guys think?

    Yup. Expensive.
Aside from the analytics, nothing that really can't be done by someone who is a bit technically minded. Even then the analytics aren't really that out of hand.

There are a couple of problems with this idea.
    1. You start in the middle of a podcast.
    2. Their price is high cause they' cant' go lower than their music streaming service because that has a certain amount cause they pay for the streaming of licensed music.
    3. Their scheduling and playlist tool isn't that much advanced than something you can do with Abovecast (which is $15).
    4. I'm getting almost 1 person a day. I do have a streaming station that I've used for a few years I have 64 unique listeners who average 10 minutes.
    5. They offer distribution. You can manually add your streaming station to iTunes radio (for the record you now have to manually go in and make that visible cause Apple wants you to concentrate on their streaming radio stations - not yours). Tunein, Windows, etc. So yes they make it easier, but not enough to cost me an extra $60 a month when you do it once, and forget about it.

So I feel bad, cause I have tremendous respect for Todd Cochrane, and I applaud his willing to try something new, but I already know a few people who have tried a 30 days trial and quit before the trial was over. It's like anything else you have to promote it.

Lastly, their CPM if you choose to monetize is $2. This is also the case for Abovecast but I put my own ads on my station.
