    Lightbulb Having Multiple youtube Channels

    Hey guys,

After doing some research We (GFQ Network) have decided we need to make separate youtube channels for each of our shows. The reason for this is better discoverability, and for users to only follow shows they are interested in. Does anyone have any experience with this? How many channels are we allowed to have on one email address? We technically would need more than 10 different accounts but for the time being we can do 5 to start and see how it goes.

Are there any cons to doing this. Obviously other than the extra time it take.

    That is a fantastic question.

When you have created your new YouTube channels, log onto YouTube (Maybe under a 'GFQ Network' account.) and click on your icon on the top right (Right side of the bell symbol.). Click "Add Account". There is no limit to the amount of accounts you can add or create and monetize. A famous YouTuber by the name of freddiew eventually branched out with his friends onto several YouTube channels for different types of content. Dave Dugdale has two YouTube channels, each focuses on specific content.
RedLetterMedia on the other hand has all their content on one channel. They should probably branch out into different channels as well. They are doing really well with Patreon.

    I hope this helps.

I am running two so far. One for MTR which only has shows and one for RAGE Works which has all the episodes plus our other content. I believe there is no limit with the amount of channels you have.

It seems like that is the trend right now. A lot of networks are now creating sub pages to their youtube channel.
