A long long time ago, two tomboy knights Sir Raven of Torchwood and Sir Persis of the Ring embark on a quest to slay a dragon and save the world. Well, kind of. Wanting to be part of the Sir Arthur's Round Table, they decide to look for a dragon to slay. Along the way, they run into legendary swordsman Sir Samantha Swords who is on her to hunt down a wayward dragon that has burnt down five villages and is terrorising the common folk.

As it is a long walk to the dragon's hiding place, there is plenty of time for these tomboys to discuss the relevant topics of medieval period, such as Game of Thrones. As the whole world knows, Game of Thrones will return to our screens again next Spring. Filming for Season 5 begun in July and the production has been making headlines since. In August, game of Thrones producers have been forced to seek a new location to shoot a planned nude walk by Lena Headey's Queen Cersei. Just last month, 86,000 people responded to a cast call request for 600 Game of Thrones extras in Spain where the series is currently being filmed So it looks a lot of exciting things going down for season 5 so... what we can expect? Which of your favourite character will die next? What does the historical European martial arts community feel about the depiction of sword fighting and other forms medieval combat in the show? What is the the difference between actual medieval fighting and the dramatisation on the screens?

After denying about their involvement in a Wonder Woman film all this while. Warner Bros. is now looking for a director for their film and they want it to be female. We discuss who could be up for the gig, including Kathryn Bigelow and Joss Whedon. Is this enlightening move by Hollywood to reach out to its female film community and diversifying the playing field? Or is it a sexist move that implies only a female director can helm a movie starring a feminist icon? By this logic, should Captain Marvel be directed by a woman as well?

Then it is back to find about more about Historical European martial arts and its background. We look into the resurgent interest in the ancient fight form now where technology has enabled fans all around the world to form their community and movement. Increasingly, women are joining the movement and picking up martial arts. Who are the famous female fighters in the modern day Medieval European martial arts movement? Samantha advices beginners on how they can pick up Historical European Martial Arts and be part of the community.

A big fan of Lord of the Rings, Samantha shares with us how she found her dream gig working as a props maker and a costume / armour assistant in the Hobbit movie where she constructed armour and weapons for the characters in the movie. Besides The Hobbit movies, she has worked in special effects for productions such as The Hobbit, District 9, Chronicles of Narnia, Superman: Man of Steel and Elysium.

Finally, Samantha reveals how she would slay a dragon. But as usual with the bumbling duo, things takes an unexpected turn. Can the three knights band up together and fight a fearsome dragon?
