We are New York's Best Talk

    Hello everyone,

We are HTLA RADIO1 New York. The World's First All Original, All Exceptional, All Talk Programming iNetwork EVER.

We have over 2.4 million listeners worldwide across a number of platforms including Stitcher, PodCast One, Spreaker, BlogTalk and iTunes as well as our own syndicated network of 22 other iNet radio stations as well as 3 traditional stations broadcasting our content on stations in Milwaukee, Los Angeles and Dallas.

Our content, is and has always been talk radio centered on the Entertainment Industry. Film, Television, Music and Fashion are our focus and now include interviews with A-List Actors, Directors, Cinematographers, Casting Directors, TV Hosts and Production heads as well as some of the best talk on the most controversial topics that matter in society today.

In addition, and as we're already making the mold for iNet broadcasting, we've also got a cutting edge new website just launched at www.HTLARADIO1.com that is unlike any other you have seen. We invite you to it and to our broadcasts.

Also, we have a Special Events Mobile Studio we'll be taking around to events all over the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania region this summer, so if you're in the area, stop by and check us out! You'll be glad you did!

"The global social conscience and ahead-of-time trend talkers, the Taylor's have created, then exceeded, the bar in what talk broadcasting should be" - NAIB, Nat'l Ass'n of Internet Broadcasters

With reviews like that, we hope we'll be welcome here.

Welcome to the IAIB. Those numbers are impressive. How do you measure 2.4 million listeners? Which stations are you on in Milwaukee, LA, and Dallas?

Regarding the numbers, we’re very happy to explain how we have innovated the online broadcast industry.

Since we created HTLA in 2010, we have worked very closely with the virtual advertising sector to create a system in which we, the station, as well as our guests and sponsors and advertisers would receive the most attention possible for the least expenditure and effort.

Unlike traditional advertising outlets (tv, print, radio) our product is almost exclusively a “download on demand” product. This caused some need for innovation for what we can offer as far as exposure. We also found that *not* being only a local entity and targeting specific markets, was a detriment, not an asset.

For our part, we created our “We Give You the World” campaign, offering advertisers and sponsors “forever” exposure as long as the product (show) stays available for download. National and International brands benefit from this the most – ie. Tim Hortons, Kimber Firearms and Logitech, to name a few.

Once we overcame that hurdle, we were floored to discover that advertisers and sponsors stay away from the online broadcast industry like the plague – only sponsoring huge show-listing sites such as Stitcher, Spreaker, iTunes, etc. due to most online broadcasters lack of regulation (profanity, content, lack of consistency, etc.); such as afforded to brick and mortar stations by the FCC.

HTLA is the first to be regulated and endorsed by NAIB, the National Association of Internet Broadcasters. Following the model of the FCC regarding profanity, subject matter and reliability of programming has soothed the nervous jitters of advertisers and sponsors and three years later we are starting to see a surge of confidence and support of online programming by these brands.

Given that we are an “on demand” industry with some live programming in the past; and, slated for the future, our metrics are different than brick and mortar stations, as well as more substantial.

While unable to recommend how to insert them in a traditional report, here is what we can offer:

HTLA Radio One New York is currently enjoying a minimum of 2.4 million regular listeners/subscribers/downloads at any given time due to the following placements:

    ONLINE DISTRIBUTION
    Stitcher Radio
    Spreaker Radio
    iTunes
    HTLARadio1.com
    SoundCloud; as well as,
22 other internet radio broadcast sites that rebroadcast our programming

Exposure: Over 220 Million potential listeners – rotating 2.4 million actual (variance by download show/special episodes)

    OFFLINE DISTRIBUTION
Currently, select programming being rebroadcast by three brick and mortar stations in Los Angeles, Dallas and Milwaukee
TOTAL Numbers unknown as we sell the show blocks

As mentioned above, we pioneered the online talk programming station. The industry is still very much in its infancy so accurate metrics are still to be developed and tested in various markets and with differing types of brands. The platforms mentioned above do provide accurate download numbers per podcast/upload basis and we have not had issue with advertisers to date in this regard.
    Best Regards,

    HTLA Staff

So which stations are you on in Los Angeles, Dallas and Milwaukee? It's always interesting to see which stations are amenable to carrying Internet-only shows.

I tried heading to your site, but it appears that for mobile I can't get it to work... just some friendly advice, I would ditch the flash website so you can be found by all browsers.
