October 17th will mark our 7th anniversary, or season if you mark 'em that way. How do you celebrate milestone shows? Do you do anything special?

We celebrate these shows by throwing out the rundown and just doing a free-for-all conversation. Essentially, we do the exact opposite of planning out these big shows and plan nothing! Often times we reminisce about past moments on the show and joke about us still doing it when we're all 50. The conversation is always aided by some celebratory drinking.

Since our show started October 22nd in 2007, our anniversary show is always followed the next week by our Halloween special. We started a new annual tradition last year for Halloween by doing our own old time radio show called THE MYSTERY FILES. And we'll be doing another one this year too.

This year we ran a contest that ends in about three hours (as of my typing this) for a listener to win what we're calling a "talk on role". Using SpeakPipe they could deliver a single line of dialogue and make a cameo which we'd actually use in the show.

Do any of you do special holiday episodes too?
