    CANON is losing it

Canon USA recently launched a new microsite with a countdown clock that eventually introduced not a revolutionary product, but an advertising campaign.

    Continued...

Canon tells a story that's suspiciously similar to Alvarez's—a young kid using a Canon DSLR to realize his dreams. Indeed, the director noticed the similarity himself. Then, on the actual YouTube page for the Canon video, he points out that the video that made his career wasn't made using Canon at all—it was made on Sony cameras.

"I actually used a Sony to shoot "Panic Attack"... Get you facts right Canon."

Doesn't matter, I use Canon cameras in my work and they provide me with awesome quality but man is that a blunder to their PR. I really don't know what the higher ups at Canon were thinking when they were making that.
