New Social Network Ello.co - What can we use it for (Podcasters)

I just discovered a new social media site called ello.co . It is invite only right now ( there are many invites out there so ask around). How can we as internet broadcasters and podcasters use this new site to grow our brand and show? Its really new so it might be interesting to see how we can benefit being part of it from the ground floor

If you have any invites please share it with other members!

I'm still trying to figure it out myself. Is there a way to access the service other than the web? It looks like competition for Twitter.
Please direct all questions for me to the forum so that all can benefit.

Tons. Basically your info on Facebook and Google is being sold.

Your social network is owned by advertisers.

Every post you share, every friend you make and every link you follow is tracked, recorded and converted into data. Advertisers buy your data so they can show you more ads. You are the product that’s bought and sold.

We believe there is a better way. We believe in audacity. We believe in beauty, simplicity and transparency. We believe that the people who make things and the people who use them should be in partnership.

We believe a social network can be a tool for empowerment. Not a tool to deceive, coerce and manipulate — but a place to connect, create and celebrate life.

    You are not a product.
