Radio Shack Brand XLR to USB Converter

Hey guys. So the other day I was searching for a decent XLR to USB Adapter and saw that Radio Shack was making a very inexpensive one. I ordered it from Amazon for around 4 dollars. Here is a video I recorded testing out the product. I am using a SM7 microphone and a Macbook Pro to record it. Its not the best quality but for 4 dollars can you complain?

What do you guys think ?

You might want to try it with a decent microphone.

    Andrew,

For that kind of money it's perfectly accepatable.

So Mike you're not a fan of the SM7B. Can you elaborate? Anything other than it's low output rating?

It's reasonably cheap, with excellent build quality, built in shock mount, packaged with 2 foam screens, and easily attainable internal/external parts.

Just curious. Not trying to be confrontational. I respect your opinion.

Thanks for sharing Andrew. $4 wow!

I am trying to find an inexpensive XLR wireless transmitter adapter and receiver for my AT2005 XLR/USB microphone.

It sounds like an SM57 to me.
