HoverCam Solo 8 is the world's first SuperSpeed USB 3.0 document camera that displays up to 4K resolution of uncompressed HD video at 30 frames/sec. It incorporates an 8 megapixel sensor for clear and vibrant images, revealing details that can't be seen with the eye in close ups and displays clear text even when showing an A3 double-page document. For lower resolutions, such as HD 1080p it displays uncompressed YUV video at 30 frames/second. The Solo 8 is backwards compatible and also works with computers with USB 2 ports, displaying MJPEG compressed video over USB 2 on 1080p displays at 30 frames/sec.
