Skype to retire Windows and Mac versions

    News about Skype here:

This has implications for some capture cards. Note the quote from MS that users will be forced to upgrade.

There are options for people who use voice only, but video options are limited. That being said, if Skype fixes their problems, the updated versions will be a good thing. If they limit usability, that's a bad thing.

The good news is that no one cares about quality any more, so just use a Google Hangout. <sarcasm>
Please direct all questions for me to the forum so that all can benefit.

Andrew this is horrible news for anyone using capture cards, Wirecast, and Vidblaster. VVD/Virtual Video does not work in HD with the latest versions of Skype ( Anything above 5.10)
