    Best DSLR Camera for Podcasting

I am looking to add video to my setup and want to know what the best DSLR camera would be for podcasting. I don't know much when it comes to DSLR's but I'm hoping someone here does

First you should explain why you'd want a DSLR specifically.
There's advantages and disadvantages you should be aware of.
Shallow depth of field.... if you need it.
Low light performance.... if you need it.
The VERY SERIOUS disadvantages can be, depending on the the camera, overlays on the HDMI out and non standard frame sizes on HDMI out, typically only used for monitoring. The few DSLRs with clean HDMI can be on the more expensive side.
It might make more sense to get the new Blackmagic Studio Camera, which, as the name indicates. is a Studio camera but with some of the better DSLR features.

A big negative is many have a heads up display that gets transmitted through the HDMI cable with no way to turn it off. Unless some sort of hack like Magic Lantern.
