That was certainly interesting. Frankly, I'm holding off for the next MacMini to see if the specs measure up to the rumors.

    What's the latest rumor?
    4-8 64-bit ARM Quad-core processors?
I just hope they bring the prices down.
Are you thinking of using a Mac Mini for broadcasting purposes?

Not looking for anything more than an updated Haswell processor, Thunderbolt-2, A/C WiFi and possibly a 1TB flash drive upgrade option (Build To Order). Strictly an evolutionary update but still sufficient when combined with the new Sonnet xMac mini Server chassis.

Thanks Dan, this looks really interesting: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._1_full_1.html I guess we will see what Apple announces at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference June 2-6. I wonder what they will do with the iMac and Mac Mini.

Cool lights...great idea but outside my budget... Honestly I think I could makes these for a lot less myself. May not look as professional but the result would be the same...

I like the idea of a rack-mount that can be neatly tucked away in my Iso-Box which places it in a dust/noise free environment. However, after watching the video of the xMac I wasn't all that impressed with its build quality, especially for the price!

Also, I'm still debating between another Mac or a rack mounted Windows rig. In fact, the Windows-PC alternative rack system I configured is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of chassis build quality, as well as overall system configuration.
