Boss Jock alternative for PC, or other player recommendations

I am looking for some type of software like the soundbyte or boss jock for PCs. I am not impressed with the soundbyte for PCs.

Yes, wirecast and vidblaster will do the trick... but another $400 is just not in the budget as I am just starting.

I would appreciate some recommendations for possible choices.

    Thanks,

It was flaky for me until I learned a couple of tricks. It's now rock solid. I use it heavily on our terrestrial radio show each week.

I worked with it over the weekend. Looks like a pretty good application to me. Simple enough, if you read the help.

Maybe, you could share the tips you mentioned...when you get some time. No hurry, I'm just now sorting out music and sounds, etc. I'm not in a hurry, because I've got a ton of wav and mp3 to listen.
