What to expect at NAB Show 2014

I will be going to my first NAB Show this year and I wanted to know from some of the people who has gone what to expect. Any cool products coming out for us consumers? Or is it all Pro radio/ broadcasting gear.

things I am hoping to do :

Say Hello to Kirk Harnack and Chris Tobin from TWiRT

Speak to someone from Wirecast and find out some info in the future of the program

    Visit Black Magic Designs

I'm really excited to see what new features will be added to Wirecast.

So far, the only two previews I know of are from vMIX (4K switcher & encoder) and JuicedLink ‘Little DARling’

Does anyone have any tidbits about what is coming at NAB 2014?

One thing to expect is a lot of walking! It's over a million square feet. Wear a comfortable pair of shoes. They use a very squishy carpeting so they can run cables under the padding. That soft floor can wreak havok on the back after several hours if your shoes aren't up to snuff.

As for what will be there... I heard NewTek will be introducing the Tricaster 40 - Version 2. Panasonic (along with others, I'm sure) are introducing a couple of new 4K cameras. Adobe will be showing off the latest updates to their Creative Cloud software suite. And of course, there's the Podcast Pavilion/New Media Lounge put on by the folks from New Media Expo.

    This from their website:

"If you’re a podcaster you can sign up to podcast live from the NMX New Media Lounge on show floor. Of course we will have free wi-fi allowing you post from the Lounge."
