    Vidpresso

Has anyone else ever heard of Vidpresso? It's used by TV stations to put tweets and FB comments on the screen during a broadcast. It looks really cool.

I know Tri-caster has some instant clipping features. But something like this seems like a pretty cool idea to add.

Looks very interesting. I would imagine that it would work quite well by simply capturing the screen of another computer, i.e., Desktop Presenter with Wirecast.

May have to take this for a test run.

Just finished doing a quick and dirty test, using Wirecast and Desktop Presenter. All run on the same machine. The video, as posted, has had the crap compressed out of it, but it is viewable, giving one an idea of how it could look. I did scale the Desktop Presenter content to a 4:3 format. Not too bad, IMO.

Perhaps one of the coolest things about this service is the ability to open the 'Producer' window on one machine and have the 'Output' window open on another. That means that one of your co-hosts, located in another town, or country, can operate the production side while the output is seen on your streaming system. Keeps the number of things to keep track of down for the guy running the switching system.

Hey Guys, Eric from Vidpresso here. Let us know if you have any questions! We'd love to help you out and see podcasters using Vidpresso. Both Randall (Founder) and I were video podcasters. I still actually do a video show. We'd love to help you out!
