Hey if you're really into Widescreen/multi-screen/projector gaming you should check out the Wide Screen Gaming Forums at http://www.wsgf.org/ It's a great resource that I've used for quite awhile. I've been a 3 screen gamer for the last 5 or 6 years and could never return to a single screen.
When I have to use my laptop I find it incredibly frustrating. Ironically my initial purpose for multi-screen was gaming...however the real benefit comes in the productivity gains with many of my work related activities. E.G. Spreadsheets, email, document creation, research etc. Of course all of this may be made mute with better VR like the Oculus Rift...at least for gaming anyway... http://www.oculusvr.com/
