I'm with Andrew in that I don't feel the tech industry has really addressed webCams with much enthusiasm. Those currently available don't seem to address the market in terms of quality and features. For that, you currently have to step up to a camcorder with supporting accessories.

It's not just the manufacturers that are the problem. I don't think most people outside of internet broadcasting care whether the webcam they have is the best it can be. Nor do most video services. I am constantly appalled at the absolute horrid quality of most video services, Google Hangouts included.

This looks interesting. Has 1080P, 60fps, video auto focus, mirror-less and an APS-C sensor.

Lenovo ThinkPad 8 Bay Trail Powered Tablet - CES 2014 (It is preloaded with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office)

    Starting price: 399$ USD

Off topic: Do you think he is using the ATR 2005 USB mic? What is a good mic flag for it? Also, what wireless transmitter would you recommend for that mic?

    Sony AX100: The 4K Camcorder 1999$ USD

    1999$ USD http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search...op+Nav-Search=

This is very impressive, especially from a company that tends to over price products. Great price point. USB2 in/output? Now let's see if it technically performs well.
