I too agree that Spencer's voice sounds good with the RE20. Then again, his studio appears fully treated so I'm sure that has an influence combined with the right 'pre' adjustments.
In fact, most every microphone I've heard so far sounds pretty darn good with only one exception. It was some guy using a headworn mic that sounded like the opening announcer from the Beatles 'Magical Mystery Tour'.
