Question Recording participants of a Skype call as separate audio tracks?

I am doing a podcast with people who are not all in the same place. Is there any way to record 3-5 people on a single Skype call as separate audio sources for mixing after the fact?

No. For separate audio levels, you need one Skype instance per computer. Each caller is its own Skype call.

However, if you work with your callers, you should be able to get them to balance their audio (before the show) such that you can do a single group call.

    Thank you Mike,

would you recommend I just record everyones audio locally or have each person record their audio. I can then edit each one

You can do double-enders if you want, but they're too much trouble. Just use Skype with a mix-minus setup.

I dont know why you would want to do that. You should first work on correcting the issues rather then editing them out
