Our show is now carried live on two different Internet radio stations. We use the Shoutcast DSP plugin for Winamp as both are Shoutcast stations. For anyone not aware, the plugin lets you do up to five streams simultaneously. I've been booting into Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro in order to use Shoutcast since it's not available for Mac.

I'd like to start using Nicecast on the OS X side instead, but it only supports one stream at a time. A rep told me multiple streams is a popular request and they're working on it. But I'm wondering, until that update exists, if I can run two instances of Nicecast using the "open -n /Applications/Nicecast.app/" command in Terminal? Has anyone else ever done this? Will my MacBook burst into flames?

I can't seem to find any info on running multiple instances of Nicecast on Google. Using that command I was able to launch two instances of it, no problem. But I didn't try streaming yet. Thought I'd find out if anyone else has had experience with this first.
