Last week's show...I added a new soft box as my key light. I think it makes a difference.

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words. It took a lot of work to get the show looking this good. Big thanks to AZ for helping me with my rig. I use a Canon Vixia HF G10 for my main shot, a Vixia HV20 as Camera 2 when I have an in studio guest.

Your camera's are too expensive for me right now. Can you recommend a good webcam for about $100 or so? I'm just thinking about starting a show but would like it to look as good as possible on a tight budget.

I haven't used any of the webcams, I have to figure out how to mount them to the tripod I have. I also watched the latest Episode of the Bald Truth, another quality broadcast from Spencer, though I would expect nothing else!

I'm a big fan of the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema. The only issue I have is if you need to send HD video over Skype. The Lifecam isn't Skype certified. But if you are recording/streaming locally, not sending it out to Skype, then it should be no problem. Also, if you are just mounting a web cam, I've always preferred using a mic stand with boom arm. It won't take up nearly as much space as a full sized tripod.
