    Developing Roku App

I have started developing Roku apps for internet broadcasters. I have been able to put live video and RSS feeds into one app I have done a test app for Stephen Heywood from TheTechBuzz. You can add his test channel to your Roku to see what I have to offer. Here is a screen shot to show you what it looks like.

Its not that it is very difficult but its very hard to combine live video and RSS into one app. Thats what has taken me the most amount of time.

If you go to https://owner.roku.com/Developer you can download a sample app from roku that has most of what you need. By default it does not read RSS like Nick said. That was not an issue for us though because we have developed our own podcast management system that we can create any kind of feed from including the detailed XML feed that was needed for Roku.

When we tried to modify the RSS feed to work with Roku, other RSS feed readers would choke on the feed.
