Its amazing the longevity this capture card has had. I believe it has been out on the market for 7 years. The latest update ( as far as i know the only hardware update the card has ever received)...

Last year we switched over to AJA Kona 4 cards. We have two in out production machine right now. We can technically do 8 SDI video inputs.

I would love a Quad HDMI Capture card.. It would make my life a lot easier :)

Something else to consider is the Avermedia DarkCrystal HD Capture SDK Duo (C129).

Avermedia makes some great stuff. I have an Avermedia HDMI card sitting right next to me :) the issue that I had with it was that it made everything a little red.

Thats an interesting question. I couldn't tell you which one is the "Best" HDMI Capture card but The one that GFQ has been using for a few years it the Black Magic Intensity Pro
