I have been looking for a soundcard recently under $50 that can handle good quality audio output(music) and also a line input for my main mix. I use USB soundcards for Skype and they seem to do the trick. So does anyone have any suggestions?

USB: Behringer UCA-202 is $30
PCI: M-Audio Audiophile 2496 is $69 but it's worth the extra money.
PCIe: No clue
I buy Delta 1010LT 5-channel sound cards for less than $100 each used on eBay. They make life SO much easier.
I would suggest all of the above also. But i am wondering what would be considered the best PCI-E soundcard currently. I have a creative X-FI card but wouldn't say its the best. A lot of driver issues in the past.
Mike what do you think about on board soundcards? Do you think I should get a new card?
It depends on what you want. Some people are happy with onboard sound cards. Not all sound cards are created equal.
Mike it right. It really depends on what motherboard you have. Some on board soundcards are good enough. Others.. well not so much
What is the name of the soundcard in the facebook posting of this thread?
Its a Creative Soundcard. Not sure what Model
All the good card that caught my attention seem to be out of stock.
Any new soundcards come out that you guys would suggest?
The Delta 1010 that mic suggest is great but it seems like it will be going away. Many of the latest motherboards no longer use PCI and have gone exclusively to PCI Express
