Will post a video walk through or pics tonight.
Here a few shots of my setup. One iMac 24", one Mac Mini, one MacBook Air (running Windows), mixer and PR40.

Since I run a cable broadband company, I have the benefit of dedicated 100Mbit fiber Internet which makes streaming a pleasure. My entire home network consists of 10 computers over a Gigabit Ethernet network and a storage server with 5TB of storage.
Yeah, I'm a geek. ;)
Here is a quick and dirty walk through of my "studio" lol. I am sure many will appreciate the gear I use.

Very nice video Rich. You will be shocked to know that I still dont use a compressor. I think its time I get one.
Mike what do you think Should I get one?
Andrew, it depends. We should talk.
Great walkthrough Rich! @AZ, I use the now discontinued DBX 286A http://www.dbxpro.com/286a/ which was the industry standard. As a matter of fact a lot of my equipment has been discontinued...But it still works for me.:)
What are your recommendations Mike?
LOL. My recommendation is actually the DBX 286s. They're $200US each, and you need one per microphone. They have the best sounding gates on the market, at least for the price. If you feel you have to add boom and sizzle, the dynamic EQ on the unit works well.
Processing on the program feed, if any, needs to be very minimal. The selection of a program processor is a different matter. I'm not familiar with an inexpensive unit that does a good job. I have the Omnia A/XE software that may be ideal since it has a multiband processor, but it remains to be seen how much demand it puts on the processor already running Vidblaster or Wirecast.
I finally have a video up.

Great video Richard !!!
Do I have to post my video someplace other than my computer to upload here please advise as i have the video on my computer and livestream. It asks for url here....not sure what to do please advise
if i need a place to store my videos any suggestions that would be inexpensive or free?
Thanks
Bill
YouTube, Vimeo, Blip.tv are all great places to host videos for free or cheap.
thanks brad
It seems to me that livestream promotes having the vids on their site??? Am i wrong?
ok I think that i am ok now. I put the video on Vimeo and its an introduction video to my new channel on livestream. It also includes a bit of my studio...lol ....dining room combination....its about 5 minutes and i was nervous...
thanks for looking and the help...
