Over the past few months I've started using a headworn mic. I find it to be a nice compromise between the someone noisy lav mics and the mic in shot look (I do not like this look). What do you guys think of the audio? And what do you think about these mics in general?

It is the Rode HS1-B headset microphone. Got mine for £80 including the MICON to XLR adapter.
How much are they?

They are a bit expensive, just fair warning :)
Mike is correct It comes down to the quality of the lav. Most people using Lavs for a podcast sounds like crap because they are cheapo lavs.
Wow, I was actually impressed with the sound clip of this mic you linked. Since this little thing' is priced on par with more conventional webcast cardioids, I'm surprised that more people are not using them in their webcasts.Quote:

You don't have to use it with a wireless mic when you use the Micon to XLR adapter.
I am a fan of using a traditional broadcasting microphones. It is easier to control and you get far less room noise then a lav
