I dont know... Its cool but wouldnt it be a hard mike to use on the air. The angling seems weird
Any thoughts on the RODE NT1 (Not the NT1-A)?

Rode makes good mics, but for broadcasters, they're nothing special, IMHO. If I were going to buy a Rode mic for a male voice, it would be an NTG3 shotgun, like the Sennheiser MKH416 but with more proximity effect. Like any expensive microphone, I'd buy it from a dealer that would let me return it if I didn't like it.
For what its worth, I know that Sweetwater allows for returns and they do stock the NTG3 shotgun mic and the NTG-3B (B for black). One would have to pay for the return shipping but that's it. BTW, A quote request typically results with a lower price than what is listed on their website.
