Well, if I ever get my landing gear up, I may luck out in this regard. My son is a musician so for sure he can throw something together for me. Though I have to admit I would love to cut a jingle from a 60's-70's era favorite. Yes, I'm wearing my Woodstock T-shirt as I type.

We use about 15 seconds of his "Cold Funk" for our introduction music.
I suggest looking into royalty free music. What I found is that most is written by independent artists looking to get their name out there. Most charge just a small one time fee and then you can use the music in your podcasts, some are even free to use as long as you give proper credit. I'm no lawyer but that's what I found worked for me, and I just use mine as a 30 second intro/music bed to my podcast.
