I am now using a PC with a Core 2 quad 2.83Ghz I am thinking about getting a Xeon Quad core 5450, 3.0 Ghz.
Anybody has any experience as far as performance, when it comes to VidBlaster, Skype etc. ??

Are you keeping the same MB? If not, I'd suggest the i7-2600K. I have two PCs with this CPU and think its great. Depending on the MB, you don't even need a GPU.
I think Andrew is using this one, too.
Im using a i7 2600k and have overclocked it to 4.4ghz and its running great. got a water cooler for 80 bucks. I would go with an i7
