I think the entire story has been blown into something bigger than it is. He never worked for him fulltime he was a guest. Leo just doesnt want him on the show.

In the link, Dvorak states that Leo pays the hosts $500, so technically if he's not being invited to be on the show any longer then the term "fired" rather fits. Granted, I only know what I know about the situation from Dvorak's special newsletter, but it pretty much tracks with Leo's behavior over the last couple of years.
