There aren't any major discounts with Google domains. All domains (that I have seen thus far with .com and .net) cost $12. It is a very simple interface, not a zillion ads like GoDaddy and so far it has done exactly what I need it to do. I have been transferring all my domains over as they are about to expire from GoDaddy.
