Well, there goes the neighborhood, or maybe not. That article was painfully boring to read but I grabbed as much as I could for one sitting. I guess the short of it, is that Ethernet cable is progressively replacing the BNC standard.
IP Video and Audio will be replacing everything . We have converted all our audio in the studio to IP (Axia Radius Console) and I could never go back to analog.

Actually, I was looking at the Behringer X32 Rack which by definition, is digital but it also accepts analog inputs. So I guess that's called what? Maybe a hybrid? Either way I would die to have Andrew's set-up but I'm just a poor retired dirt farmer.
