Advertising your show on podcasts

Has anyone here ever advertised on another persons Podcast / show. I have noticed some people have started doing this.

Example. Podcast A charges 100 dollars to plug Podcast b.

I just saw something like that today for the first time. I was watching an episode of GeakBeat.tv and they advertised the Ben Heck Show. I'm still not sure what to make of it.

Maybe a better question would be, would you ever let another podcast advertise on yours?
