I was wondering how some of you guys are able to do HD video streaming live. I have been having some issues with my current setup. What hardware and software are you guys running? Do you feel that HD is a good idea?

I was wondering how some of you guys are able to do HD video streaming live. I have been having some issues with my current setup. What hardware and software are you guys running? Do you feel that HD is a good idea?
We broadcast at 720p. We have a switching machine that uses Vidblaster and a Encoding machine that is running Wirecast. Both the machines are an i7 2600k with 8 gigs of ram. nothing crazy special. HD is great but not necessary. I think 480p is good enough
