I chose to build a new custom shuttle PC for Wirecast 4.2.2. After much consideration and planning here is the parts list:
Intel Core™ i7-3770K Processor, 3.50GHz w/ 8MB Cache
ASUS P8Z77-M PRO
Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Quad Channel Kit (4 x 4GB)
ASUS GT630 GeForce GT 630 2GB PCI-E
Corsair Neutron Series GTX SATA III Solid State Drive, 120GB
WD 1TB Caviar Black 7200rpm SATA III
Corsair Professional Series Gold AX750 Modular Power Supply
Silverstone Sugo SG02-F Micro-ATX Case, Black w/ USB 3.0
Noctua NF-R8-1800 80mm Fan X3
Matrox VS4 Quad HD Capture and ISO Recording Card for Telestream Wirecast
I currently have the CPU, RAM, MOBO, Case and Fans. I'll sweat the small stuff in the new year and get the VS4 as soon as my local retailer can get a delivery date.
I believe this DIY system will come in at under $3000.00 with Wirecast and could be an alternative to the Tricaster TC40.
