Any other Vidblaster users out there experiencing Frame Drop when doing 720p. My CPU is under 30% and im using a black magic intesity pro.

nope cpu is at 20% cores are all fine

I have tried running vidblaster and had the same issue. it seems to be a limitation of all software switchers.

Well, there's that. Now that he has the audio equivalent of a TriCaster, he might as well upgrade his video.

Mike you and Spencer are right. I think it is time i start looking at the tricaster. Software is extremely limited when it comes to this stuff.

I'd say anyone who's ready to step up there production should consider the TriCaster. It's a way more flexible solution than a lot of these software switchers. Also remember the TriCaster is not just a computer with a bunch of cards mashed into it. It's all custom hardware. The processing isn't loaded onto the CPU like it is with VidBlaster, it's all handled on dedicated devices (FPGAs and the like). I think the upgrade would be WELL worth it.
