Mike Versteeg Creator of Vidblaster recently asked an interesting question on twitter.

Does this mean Mike is working on a Mac version of Vidblaster? Do you think its necessary for there to be a Mac Version?

I don't think he's working on a Mac version of Vidblaster. What I understand in the message on Twitter is that a Mac version is not necessary because Mac users can load Bootcamp and use Vidblaster under Windows: this what he said in many post on his forum and this is what was explained in a video of an old user I don't see anymore. About Vidblaster and his creator..... no comment, I already expressed my opinions in other messages.

Looks like Mike really wants some input on this subject. That's all I can say.

I have been playing around with wirecast for a few weeks now. Its really cool. I dont have a windows machine so I have no idea how vidlbaster works.

If you have Mac you can have Windows.
I bootcamp my recent Macs.
This allows me to play with Wirecast on Mac and Windows and VidBlaster on Windows so I get a very direct comparison on one hardware system. I can then tell the differences relative to the OS and software knowing the hardware matches.

No reason not to have a Mac version.
