Realizing there is debate on whether one should use Feedburner for your podcast feeds or not, I wanted to bring this up - something I've been seeing a lot of lately online.

Is Feedburner closing down? Earlier this morning, I saw a post on G+ from Chris Brogan (https://plus.google.com/+ChrisBrogan/posts) asking the same thing. I did a quick search and came across this article (http://thewayoftheweb.net/2012/08/is-feedburner-about-to-be-closed-by-google/) dated August 3rd of this year, basically indicating that Feedburner is on its way out.

What isn't known, at least I can't find any information on it, is if current feeds will be ok or if they will be closing the entire thing down, to disappear like Geocities and other places have done. Or, do they have something new in mind; a replacement for Feedburner, perhaps?

If you currently use Feedburner for your feeds, are you planning to make changes knowing there is a real possibility that the service will be gone in a few months?
