Pretty sure it wasn't spoken... it was that unmistakable look of someone thinking less of you after telling them it isn't associated with a traditional media outlet.

But at least no one's called out my hair (to my face anyway).

I agree with Brad. Nothing worse then people thinking your product is inferior based on the medium with which it is delivered. Sorry we aren't bound by the B.S of terrestrial radio but last I checked myself provide superior content vs any paid or free "mainstream" medium.

Just the other day I had someone said to me " I thought all you did was talk into a crappy mic" they had no idea how much hardware goes into a good broadcast

I actually haven't gotten any real criticism because of the medium, more for the controversial topics we discuss, and the fact that when talking about politics, philosophy, etc. I have no filter and let it all out. Though I have experienced people being less impressed because it's not traditional radio or television, which puts me off a little bit.
